This is it! Fall Festival begins tomorrow with our trip to Carvin's Cove. It's the first time we have gone there and I can hardly wait to see how it goes. I love to kayak in the cove and have hiked 1 trail, so I am really looking forward to tomorrow!
I need everyone who is driving to meet at school at 8:45 so we can load car seats. We will leave by 9:15. If your child is riding with someone else then we need their car seat tomorrow. This is really important: YOUR CHILD'S NAME SHOULD BE ON THEIR CAR SEAT!!!
Since it has rained the last 2 days, please dress your child in old clothes and shoes/boots. It will clear up tonight but it takes longer for the ground to dry out in the woods. Children staying all day may want to change their clothes once back at school but they should all have extra clothes.
Each child needs a fruit break and a lunch tomorrow. We will return to school about 1:00 after we eat our lunch and s'mores. See you in the morning.
