Tomorrow is our big day! I know it is the first time for several of you so let me explain what happens. If you have grandparents or friends attending the breakfast it's important that you realize your child still comes to the school at the usual time. This is the grandparent(s)'s time to see the art work and visit with some staff and other C.S. family members. And please don't forget to look for your child's head shot. They were professionally made and I believe can be purchased.
The children and I will do fruit break at school and then walk over to put on costumes. You will see us when the curtain rises as we are the first act. The children have worked hard and are so cute!!!! When they are finished we will exit the stage and go to our assigned seats in the front right side (stage left for you drama folks) where I will remove their costumes. If you want them to sit with you or you need to leave before it's over, feel free to come get your child. It is very important you let me know that you have them so I don't spend the afternoon searching the campus for a lost little one.
There are three very exciting acts following ours and worth staying to watch. We were able to see the younger Middle School act today and the children loved it. Even though I see this incredible display of talent every year, I am always awed by what our students can do.
Dismissal is at 1:00 from the Hollins Theater. I will be in the front with any remaining children. See you tomorrow.
