Dress rehearsals are always a little stressful. My costumes is missing a piece, the hat doesn't stay on my head and why do they keep telling me to stand somewhere else? I know the children must have felt this way today but they quietly had tails added, put the hat back on and moved yet again. And when the time came for them to stand up and sing - boy, did they sing. In fact, my class sang with such gusto I had to turn my back so they couldn't see me laughing. It was sweet, funny and clear as a bell. Bring your camcorders because this will be a day you won't ever want to forget!
Thursday is predicted to be rather warm and the theater is not yet air conditioned. Please dress your child in shorts and a light weight t-shirt or spaghetti strap shirt. They will wear t-shirts over their clothes so the heat will rise rapidly for them. You may want to dress for the high temperatures too.
