In my own defense, I did warn them to watch out for tricks today. It was at Fruit Break time when they went to wash their hands that the found it. The toilet water was blue. They reasoned it couldn't have been leprechauns because everyone knows they leave green deposits. They flushed toilets only to have more blue water appear. Aah, it's good when a plan works out.

Today was my Leader Day - being the birthday girl - and the children allowed me to have Show & Share just like them. I brought my yoga mats today and unrolled them so they could feel the stickiness of them. I explained this kept my feet and hands from slipping when doing yoga. Their curiosity led to a yoga session which included their favorite move Happy Baby. I can only hope Victoria wasn't doing an Early Learner tour at that moment!

After Fruit Break we came in and finished our C mats with the S,K,and C word matches. I was surprised how few words tricked the children. Perhaps they were listening after all. They will come home today.

Lunch today was like our Friday lunches and we allowed children to travel. Katlyn only had two students left so they came to eat with us. They play with my class often and make themselves at home here. We even decided to have a sleepover and brought their mats in our room. It was quite nice to have our little friends with us and it gave Katlyn some much needed time to finish polishing the Strawberry Festival web page.

I told you the other day you could now sign up for berry cleaning and festival day but it was a bit premature. It is now official - you can sign up for both events. Katlyn will e-mail you a confirmation of your dates and times. If you have friends or relatives helping you work your hours, there is a comment spot to tell Katlyn. My husband and daughter will both be working to help a single, working parent earn her hours.

Since Spring Break begins tomorrow I won't see my young friends for over a week but I will be in the room transforming it to a NASA museum. Have a wonderful week with your children!
