Although the children don't spend the first hour of the morning with me we still managed to do quite a bit of fun review. I got out my letter finger puppets and put the letters -ad on two fingers. I then went through the letters we previously found we could make words by adding to -ad. These children either have amazing memories or really have figured out how to put three sounds together because they flew through all ten words.

Today I introduced a new game called "I Have, Who Has?". It is a teacher's dream come true for it comes as a template to which one applies any information the class may be learning. The template is then cut into individual cards for a group to use. I usually create my game for all 10 to play as a class. Today's game used ten colors with red and green as the stop and go points. It was a big hit so we played several times.

Stay warm this weekend and don't forget to let your inner child enjoy the snow!
