Today's fog and wind certainly had its effect on our class. Let's just say the morning was challenging. We spent the time after circle singing Halloween songs and acting out finger plays with stick puppets.
After music with Kim our buddies came by for some individual reading time. We took pictures of the children with their buddies. Kim Halsey already has them posted on her blog and they will soon appear on ours. Feel free to peruse her blog if you want to see them right away.
We are working on spiders and glow-in-the-dark spider webs. These are the type of spiders you will want to keep for many years because I used their hands to create them.
Here are a few more thoughts for Friday. If your child's costume is one that they can easily run and play in, then please dress them in it before school. They can always change afterwards if they choose. If it is too cumbersome for playing on the playground (or too delicate), send it in a bag so they can quickly change after Spanish.
