I know it's hard to believe it when you look outside, but tomorrow's forecast is a high of 48 and rain starting in the morning. We are postponing our Jeter Farm trip until next week so we don't have wet, miserable children. I am currently waiting for a call back to see if they can accommodate us on Wednesday or Thursday. We probably will have the school's bus available but any parent drivers who would still like to drive are welcome. We will have a fun activity for the children tomorrow so they won't feel like their day is ruined.
Today I taught the class two yoga moves that begin with the letter F. They learned the flower pose which is an upright balance and the frog. The frog pose is very funny looking so they loved it. It also has a moving variation which I showed them. Perhaps they will give you a demonstration.
Julie is off camping with the Middle School so the children just had Music and Spanish today.
Our class is composting so well I bought a much larger bucket last night. Feel free to keep sending it in. We have another container to get cooking for Spring plants. We do also need leaves and/or grass clippings so if you are used to bagging these items, we certainly would love a few bags to add to our "feast for the worms". I was amazed today when I used my hands to mix the soil and food, the children pushed up their sleeves and helped. Our little rakes seem to be too small for the job but our arms were just right! It sure made hand washing a non-issue! Thanks for your support (and scraps).
