This was a busy day for our little friends. They began their day with Music and Spanish. After a quick fruit break we walked to the Seminar (our oldest middle schoolers) room for puppet shows. Rather than go over a list of playground rules, the Seminar students created four puppet shows to teach the rules. They were very creative and often had the children laughing.

Friday is a special lunch day for our school. Children are allowed to eat in the room of their choice. While our class chose to stay in our room, they were joined by former students and friends in the upper elementary classes. It's a wonderful opportunity for the different age groups to meet each other enjoy our newcomers. You may hear some different names from our lunch time fun today.

I have told the children and will also let you know that I may not be here Monday. My mother will have surgery mid-morning and Anna Beebe may substitute for me. I haven't yet heard back from her but if she is here, your children will be in good hands. Those who have looped with me were very excited at the thought of her coming in! She loves art, nature, patterns and kids. What more can we ask?

Don't forget Gatherings next Tuesday night (7:00 pm) and have a great weekend.
